The Role:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Landscape Architect to join our team
and play a key role in reviewing Green Riyadh Design Projects. You will be
responsible for ensuring that the projects adhere to the highest standards of design
and sustainability, contributing to the creation of a vibrant and thriving
urban ecosystem.
|
|
|
|
Your responsibilities will include:
- Review of Green Riyadh Design Projects, ensuring compliance with
TMO standards and guidelines
- Providing feedback and recommendations on design proposals,focusing on
functionality, aesthetics, and environmental considerations
- Collaborating with project teams to optimize designs and ensure
seamless integration with existing landscapes
- Conducting site visits to assess project progress and provide
on-site guidance
- Contributing to the development and refinement of TMO
design standards and best practices

Your profile:
- Completed degree in Landscape Architecture or a comparable qualification
- Proven experience in reviewing design projects, ideally in an urban context
- Strong design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
- Comprehensive understanding of sustainable landscaping principles and
plant use in arid environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse and international team

Softscape Skills and Plant Knowledge for Arid Regions:
|
- Extensive knowledge of trees, shrubs, and groundcovers adapted to
arid climates, including drought-tolerant species, water-wise gardening techniques, and xeriscaping principles.
- Experience in selecting and specifying appropriate plant materials for
arid landscapes, considering factors like low water availability,
high temperatures, and potential for wind and salinity.
- Understanding of landscape design principles and the integration
of softscape elements into the overall design concept for arid landscapes,
considering factors like windbreaks, water harvesting, and microclimate creation.
